Ascentix Partners and PureFacts Financial Solutions formed a strategic partnership focused on helping wealth management enterprises improve how they manage and generate revenue.

The arrangement brings together Ascentix’s consulting work with wealth management firms and PureFacts’ revenue management technology. The companies said their work will address areas including fee structures, billing, advisor compensation and practice management.

The partnership comes as private equity‑backed RIAs face increasing pressure to produce growth beyond expansion through acquisitions and asset gathering.

Larry Roth, Founder and Managing Partner of Ascentix, said private equity sponsors increasingly expect their RIA portfolio companies to meet aggressive growth targets.

“There is ever-increasing demand from private equity sponsors for their RIA portfolio companies to achieve aggressive growth targets,” Roth said. “Historically, solutions for addressing these growth expectations have been restricted to a combination of asset growth, cost cutting and client acquisition.”

“PureFacts fundamentally transforms this picture by adding a new and powerful component to driving valuations: By considering revenue more holistically and finding overlooked or underutilized earning levers to pull,” he added.

PureFacts’ PureRevenue platform is designed to give wealth and asset management firms a more consolidated view of the processes that determine revenue.

Its technology supports fee calculation and billing, advisor compensation and practice management. Those functions address areas such as client pricing, fee collection, advisor compensation and the performance of individual practices.

The company also uses what it calls a Revenue Book of Record to bring revenue‑related information into a common framework. PureFacts says that structure can help firms identify inconsistencies or missed revenue opportunities that may be harder to detect when billing, compensation and practice‑management functions operate separately.

Pete Hess, President, PureFacts

Pete Hess, President of PureFacts, pointed to organic growth as a central challenge for wealth and asset managers.

“Organic growth is the defining challenge in wealth and asset management today, and few understand it as deeply as Ascentix and PureFacts do together,” Hess said. “This partnership puts that understanding to work for the industry’s leading firms by helping them improve pricing, capture more earned revenue, align advisor behavior and use trusted revenue intelligence to accelerate profitable growth.”

PureFacts’ technology focuses on helping firms analyze and administer the financial processes connecting clients, advisors and the enterprise.

Ascentix provides growth planning, M&A consulting, strategic relationship development and brand services to RIAs, dual registrants, family offices, wealthtech firms and private markets companies.

Last year, RLR Strategic Partners rebranded as Ascentix Partners and launched the Ascentix Partners Network.
