RIA Beacon Pointe Advisors said Tuesday that it acquired three RIAs, adding about $1.35 billion in client assets under management (AUM).
Beacon Pointe said it added WorthPointe Financial Planners, based in Austin and Tyler, Texas, and San Diego, with about $1 billion in AUM; Silver Lake Capital Partners, in Dallas, with about $200 million in AUM; and R Meier Wealth Management, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, with about $150 million in AUM.
The purchase of WorthPointe closed on Thursday and the acquisitions of Silver Lake and R Meier closed on Sept. 15 and July 1, respectively.
All three RIAs took the Beacon Pointe name and brand on their transaction close dates, Jack Cooper, Senior Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, for the Beacon Pointe M&A team, told Wealth Solutions Report by email.
“With Worthpointe’s acquisition, we now have offices in the Austin and Tyler, Texas markets,” Cooper said. Beacon Pointe has acquired a total of nine RIAs so far this year after buying a total of 16 in all of 2025, he noted.
The latest three additions boosted Beacon Pointe’s total assets under advisement to about $70 billion, supported by over 850 team members across more than 90 offices nationwide, the firm said.
“We have goals for both M&A and organic growth, though we’re keeping specific targets internal,” Cooper told WSR.
“Our priorities are to partner with firms that strengthen Beacon Pointe and give our existing advisory teams the resources and capacity to deepen client relationships and serve more individuals and families.”
Cooper added, “Integration is central to that strategy. Each acquisition should contribute to a stronger organization and better outcomes for clients, advisors and employees.”
WorthPointe Financial Planners
WorthPointe has an established presence across California and Texas, Beacon Pointe said. In addition to its two San Diego offices and one office each in Austin and Tyler, WorthPointe has an office in Newport Beach, California.

“WorthPointe has always been grounded in collaboration, trust and comprehensive advice,” Anthony Ferreira, Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Beacon Pointe Advisors, said in a press release. “Beacon Pointe respects the culture and client relationships we have built while providing expanded resources and capabilities to support our continued growth.”
Silver Lake Capital Partners
Silver Lake’s Dallas team has over four decades of investment industry experience, according to Beacon Pointe.

“When we began our search for the right firm, we focused on three priorities: a strong culture across both the home office and local teams, a robust technology platform and a growth-oriented mindset,” David Malleck, Partner and Managing Director of Beacon Pointe Advisors, said in the press release. “Beacon Pointe checked every box.”
R Meier Wealth Management
R Meier has served individual investors and families in Fort Atkinson since it was founded in 1995.

“We sought a partner that is a leader and innovator in technology, institutional investment capabilities, and comprehensive wealth planning — one that would enhance our ability to help clients achieve their life and retirement goals,” Mark Meier, Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Beacon Pointe Advisors, said in the press release.
“Equally important, we wanted a firm with exceptional people and a culture that closely aligned with our own.”

“WorthPointe, Silver Lake Capital Partners and R Meier Wealth Management each bring a unique combination of experience, perspective and market expertise to Beacon Pointe,” Matt Cooper, CEO of Beacon Pointe, said in the release. “What unites them is a deep commitment to their clients and a belief in the value of comprehensive financial advice.”
Turkey Hill Management served as advisor for the WorthPointe transaction and Dalphia Partners served as advisor for the R Meier Wealth Management deal, according to Beacon Pointe.
