Bellevue, Washington-based wealth management firm Coldstream appointed Megan Hannah as Chief Client Experience Officer and promoted Ian Curtiss to lead the firm’s Wealth Strategy Group as Chief Wealth Strategist and Wealth Manager. These appointments are part of the firm’s ongoing leadership changes, which began when Coldstream named Kevin Fitzwilson its first CEO.

“As Coldstream continues to grow, we are investing in the leadership and infrastructure needed to keep delivering the client experience our families expect from us,” said Fitzwilson. “Megan brings the judgment, operational experience and client-first mindset we need as more families and teams look to Coldstream. We are excited to welcome her to the firm and equally pleased to congratulate Ian on his expanded leadership role. Both reflect the depth of talent, professionalism and excellence that define Coldstream.”

Anne Marie Stonich, Co-Chief Client Experience Officer, Coldstream

Anne Marie Stonich, who helped build Coldstream’s Wealth Strategy Group, family office capabilities and client experience platform, will serve as Co-Chief Client Experience Officer with Hannah through the end of 2026 and remain at the firm.

“This transition reflects exactly what we have been building toward: a stronger, deeper leadership team that can support Coldstream’s continued growth while preserving the client-first culture that makes the firm special,” said Stonich. “I am excited to partner with Megan through the transition, support Ian as he leads the Wealth Strategy Group forward, and continue focusing on Bend, family office services, and the complex client relationships that are such an important part of Coldstream’s future.”

The New Leadership

In her role, Hannah will work across planning, investment strategy and client service.

She has more than 25 years of experience working with RIAs and global asset management organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Manager at Emerald Advisors, a Seattle-area RIA, where she worked on its strategy, growth initiatives and client experience. Earlier in her career, Hannah worked at BlackRock Alternative Advisors.

Curtiss has served as a Coldstream wealth manager since 2021, working closely with Stonich to help shape the Wealth Strategy Group. In his expanded role, he will lead the group, which provides planning and investment strategy support. Curtiss will also serve on the firm’s executive leadership team.

As of March 31, Coldstream oversaw more than $15 billion in total client assets. It is employee-owned and independent of external capital partners.
