The Foundation for Financial Planning (FFP) on Wednesday announced its 2026 Board of Trustees leadership, which includes Yonhee Choi Gordon, who has shifted to Chair for 2026 from Vice Chair in 2025, and Terri Fiedler, President of Retirement Services at Corebridge Financial, who has been elected Vice Chair

Gordon has served on the FFP board since 2021 and has also served as Chair of its Grants Committee.

She recently retired from the JMG Financial Group, where she served in several leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer, FFP said.

“It’s an honor to serve as Chair of the Foundation for Financial Planning,” Gordon said in a news release. “FFP’s mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to thoughtful, high-quality financial guidance, especially during moments of crisis. I’m committed to working with our board, partners, and volunteers to extend that impact to even more people in need.”

Terri Fiedler, Vice Chair, Foundation for Financial Planning

“Terri Fiedler is succeeding Yonhee Choi Gordon as Vice Chair as part of the Foundation for Financial Planning’s annual board leadership succession, in which the Vice Chair role is a one-year position,” Jon Dauphiné, FFP CEO, told WSR by email.

Fiedler will assume the role of Chair in 2027. Before being elected Vice Chair, Fiedler served as a FFP Trustee since 2011 and as Co-Chair of FFP’s Corporate Advisory Council since 2019.

Fiedler has been the President of Retirement Services at Corebridge Financial since 2022. Before that, she was President and CEO of AIG Financial Distributors and also served at AIG, Invesco and AIM Distributors, FFP noted.

Jon Dauphiné, CEO, Foundation for Financial Planning

“FFP is fortunate to be guided by leaders who bring extraordinary depth of experience, perspective, and commitment to expanding access to financial planning,” Dauphiné said in the news release. “As we continue to build momentum for the pro bono movement nationwide, Yonhee’s thoughtful leadership and Terri’s long-standing service and strategic expertise will be invaluable.”

He went on to say, “We are also excited to welcome five new trustees whose collective experience across the profession will strengthen our work and expand our reach.”

The five new trustees announced on Wednesday will serve on the FFP Board for the 2026-28 term, FFP said.

The new trustees are: Yusuf Abugideiri, Co-CEO and Chief Investment Officer, Yeske Buie; Jon Beatty, Managing Director and Head of Schwab Advisor Services, Charles Schwab; Ryan Fleming, Principal, Armstrong, Fleming & Moore; Kate Healy, CEO, AdvoKate IQ; and Stacey McKinnon, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Marketing Officer and Partner, Morton Wealth.

Schwab’s longstanding partnership with FFP has been grounded in a shared belief that financial advice can be a powerful force for good, according to Beatty.

“I’ve long admired FFP’s work, and I’m thrilled to collaborate with this dedicated and talented group of trustees and staff to give back to the profession in a way that has a real impact,” Beatty said.

Additionally, Dauphiné expressed appreciation to FFP’s outgoing trustees, including outgoing Chair Tony Svach, who will remain on FFP’s Board and Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chair.

Dauphiné also recognized FFP’s Co-Founder and its longest-serving trustee, Alexandra Armstrong, who retired from the board in 2025.

Over its 30-year history, FFP has granted almost $11 million to pro bono programs, supported volunteering for over 30,000 financial planners and provided help for more than 765,000 people.
