The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation on Tuesday announced 15 advisor finalists across five award categories, who will be honored at the 19th annual Invest in Others Awards on Sept. 25 at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.
Combined, Invest in Others will be honoring 90 financial advisors this year including 75 financial advisors who received Honorable Mentions in recognition of their charitable work, and will receive $2,000 each for their designated charities.
At the awards gala, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation said that it will provide $25,000 grants in honor of the 15 finalists to support their designated charities.
Among the finalists, one recipient will be chosen in each category, with the grant amount increasing to $60,000 for recipients in the Catalyst, Community Service, Emerging Impact and Volunteer of the Year awards categories.
The amount increases to $100,000 for the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“Each year, the Invest in Others Awards recognize financial advisors who are making a significant difference through their charitable work,” Barkley Payne, President and CEO of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, said in a news release announcing the finalists.
He added, “This year’s finalists demonstrate the power of leadership, compassion, and volunteerism in driving community impact through their favorite charities. We are proud to celebrate their efforts and support the nonprofits they serve through national recognition and direct funding.”
The Invest in Others Awards program was designed to honor “financial advisors who volunteer their time and talents to support nonprofits, positively impacting lives and the communities they serve,” according to the charitable foundation.
Since 2006, Invest in Others has partnered with over 725 charities and donated almost $8 million in funding for various causes, including health and wellness, education and youth programs, arts and culture, hunger and poverty prevention, and military and veterans causes, the charitable foundation said.
Finalists, honorable mentions, their firms and their charitable work are listed on the Invest in Others website.
