Genesis Wealth announced that Alan Feutz, formerly with JPMorgan Securities, joined the firm as a Partner and Wealth Advisor. Feutz oversaw approximately $725 million in client assets at his former firm. Based in Deerfield, Illinois, Feutz has 26 years of experience. He serves high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Genesis Wealth is a non-OSJ branch office of LPL Financial and specializes in “supported independence,” a model that gives advisors access to compliance, technology, operations and practice management resources while allowing them to operate with greater flexibility.
“This transition further validates Genesis Wealth’s platform and supported independence model,” said Kosta Tanglis, Founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Wealth.
Genesis opened a new office in Deerfield, establishing a presence in Chicago’s North Shore, “one of the Midwest’s most established wealth management markets,” according to the firm.
The approximately 10,000-square-foot office can accommodate more than 20 advisors and staff. It will initially house Feutz and his client service team, Genesis Wealth Founding Advisor Joel Feiger and Managing Director Jack Kennedy.
Genesis Wealth was founded in 2024 and launched under its current brand in 2025. Earlier this month, the firm said that advisors on its platform now collectively service more than $3 billion in client assets, reaching the mark without acquisitions or mergers, relying instead on advisor recruitment and organic asset movement.
The business traces its roots to 2020, when Tanglis began developing a platform aimed specifically at bank advisors. That supported independence initiative launched in 2021.
