Industry public relations and marketing firm Haven Tower Group recently added Chris Paulitz to its Board of Advisors. A veteran wealth management industry executive and former advisor to policymakers on Capitol Hill, Paulitz will complement the advisory capabilities of Haven Tower’s existing board, the firm said in a release.

“Having known Chris Paulitz as a trusted professional colleague, a widely respected industry thought leader and personal friend for two decades, I’m thrilled to welcome him to our Board. He will serve in a very engaged role as a strategic advisor to Haven Tower alongside his fellow members,” said Joe Kuo, CEO and Founder of Haven Tower.

After 13 years at the Financial Services Institute (FSI) – the Washington-based advocacy organization for the independent wealth management industry – Paulitz left his role as Head of Strategic Initiatives to join Disability Specialists (DSI), an industry insurance benefits group.

During his time at FSI, Paulitz worked with DSI to first launch and then expand FSI’s insurance solutions program for independent advisors and their staff, the CoveredAdvisor program.

Before joining FSI, Paulitz spent over a decade on Capitol Hill as a presidential appointee and a senior advisor to congressional leaders in Washington.

Larry Roth, CEO of WSR and Managing Partner of RLR Strategic Partners, chairs Haven Tower’s Board.

Other Haven Tower board members include Andy Kalbaugh, Founder and Managing Partner of Cassique Strategies; Jeff Nash, Founder and CEO of Bridgemark Strategies; Kent Weldon, Managing Partner of Bravura Capital; and Sid Yenamandra, Founder and CEO of Surge Ventures.

“Put simply, Haven Tower flat out delivers in a way I have never experienced in my 20 years in communications and marketing,” Paulitz said. “I’m eager to engage further with the firm and its truly exceptional community of clients, other professional contacts and industry influencers.”
