The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation (IiO) on Wednesday announced the recipients of funding from its 2025 Grant Program, which includes Grants for Good and Grants for Change, totaling $290,000 in support for 16 nonprofit organizations.

The program funds nonprofits for projects and initiatives supported by financial services professionals. The funding may serve needs for seed money, program support or capital improvements across a wide range of causes, according to IiO, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.

Grants for Good awards funding to nonprofits focusing on areas that include arts and culture, education and youth programs, health and wellness, human services and economic development, hunger and poverty prevention, and military and veterans.

Grants for Change, meanwhile, awards funding to nonprofits working to create and strengthen opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

The Grant Program has awarded grants of almost $2 million in all since 2018, the organization said.

“This year’s Grant Program recipients are addressing critical needs in their communities, and our grant funding helps them close financial gaps and strengthen their long-term impact,” R. Barkley Payne, CEO and President of IiO, said in a news release.

“These organizations would not receive funding from us without the financial professionals who support and identify them,” Payne explained. “We know that nonprofits nationwide are navigating increasing financial pressures, from rising operating costs to growing community demand, and these grants help ensure they can continue delivering essential programs, services, and support.”

He added, “We celebrate the financial services professionals who champion charitable work by helping us identify nonprofits that benefit from our grant support. When we come together to support nonprofit organizations, our collective efforts create meaningful change and build even greater impact for those they serve.”

The 2025 Grants for Good recipients were Central Texas Table of Grace in Round Rock, Texas; Feed Lake Highlands and New Friends New Life in Dallas; Fallbrook Food Pantry in Fallbrook, California; For Our Community Unity & Support (FOCUS) in Western New York; Photo Safe in New York City; Healing Hoofbeats of CT in Bethlehem, Connecticut; Orlando Health Foundation in Florida; Unexpected Productions in Seattle; United Way of Northwest Vermont in South Burlington to support United Way’s Working Bridges program; Winsted Arts Council in Winsted, Minnesota; and Yavapai County Volunteers in Protection in Prescott, Arizona.

Each of them received a $20,000 grant, with the exception of Winsted Arts Council, which received $10,000.

The 2025 Grants for Change recipients were Brighton Park Neighborhood Council in Chicago; California Center for the Arts, Escondido Foundation; Memphis Inner City Rugby in Tennessee ($20,000 each); and Stocks in the Future in Towson, Maryland ($10,000).

The 2025 Grant Program was supported by Lead Program Sponsor Fidelity Investments, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Ameriprise Financial, Envestnet, MFS Investment and PIMCO, according to IiO.
