Invest In Others Announces Winners Of 2024 Grant Program Funding

Charitable Foundation Grants $301,600 To 17 Nonprofits Supported By Financial Advisors.

The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation announced the recipients of funding from its 2024 Grant Program, which includes Grants for Good and Grants for Change, totaling $301,600.08 in support for 17 nonprofit organizations.

The program funds financial services professionals for projects and initiatives on behalf of nonprofits they support. The funding may serve needs for seed money, program support or capital improvements across a wide range of causes, according to Invest in Others.

Grants for Good awards funding to nonprofits focusing on arts and culture, education and youth programs, health and wellness, human services and economic development, hunger and poverty prevention, and military and veterans.

Grants for Change, meanwhile, awards funding to nonprofits working to create and strengthen opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities.

“We feel privileged to be able to help financial professionals amplify the positive impact that the projects and organizations they support can make—locally and nationally,” said R. Barkley Payne, CEO and President of Invest in Others.

“Our grants enable vital nonprofits to fill gaps in funding, and position themselves to give back even more to communities, over a longer term,” he explained. “We are so proud to be able to amplify the good work that financial advisors nationwide are doing to give back. Together, we can do even more.”

The 2024 Grants for Good recipients are Act of Grace ($20,000); Bethany House ($20,000); Bronx Letters Foundation ($20,000); Classmates Literacy Foundation ($11,000); CoxHealth Foundation ($15,509.08); El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom ($17,000); Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia ($15,491); New Era Community Connection ($20,000); Parker H. Bainter Foundation ($20,000); Queen Academy ($15,000); Willow House ($15,000); and Your Safe Place Foundation ($20,000).

The 2024 Grants for Change recipients are Boss Kidz ($15,000); Bringing America Sports Health ($20,000), Goldsboro Front Porch Council ($17,500); Helping Hands for Single Moms Dallas ($20,000); and Leave a Legacy Always ($19,500).

The 2024 Grant Program was supported by Fidelity Investments, Ameriprise Financial, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Envestnet, Franklin Templeton, FS Investments, MFS and PIMCO, according to Invest in Others.

Invest in Others also said it added Ed Swenson, Executive Vice President and President of RIA Solutions at Osaic, to its Board of Directors.

Swenson previously served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Dynasty Financial Partners, and Vice President of Multiple Discipline Account Platforms at Citigroup.
