Invest In Others Grants Support To 17 Nonprofits

The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation announced the recipients of its 2023 Grant Program which includes Grants for Good and Grants for Change, totaling $298,355 in support for 17 nonprofit organizations. The program funds financial services professionals for projects and initiatives on behalf of nonprofits they support. The funding may serve needs for seed money, program support or capital improvements.

We are extremely proud to help financial professionals fill funding gaps for the nonprofit organizations they support and amplify the charitable causes that they deeply care about.”

The Grants for Good section of the program funds nonprofits in arts and culture, education and youth, health and wellness, human services and economic development, military and veterans and hunger and poverty prevention. The Grants for Change portion of the program focuses on enhancing opportunities for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) communities.

The 2023 Grants for Good recipients are the 3to1 Foundation, Arts for Learning-Virginia, Canopy Center, Community in Crisis, Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center, Cost of Freedom, Crescent Cove, Garland ISD Education Foundation, Hopewell Music Cooperative North, Reaching Higher, Shoes That Fit and Today Is A Good Day.

The 2023 Grants for Change recipients are Fundación Hermanos de la Calle, Literacy Center of West Michigan, Monroe County Family Coalition, S.O.A.R. Hospitality & Travel YLC and The Challenge Program.

Invest in Others amplifies the charitable work of financial advisors, employees and their firms through support from the financial services industry. In November, it added to its Board of Directors: Joseph P. Lombardo, Jr., Head of Leadership and Future Talent Development at UBS Wealth Management; Brian McLaughlin, President of Orion Advisor Technology; Tom North, Mid-Atlantic Regional Vice President at Ameriprise Independent Advisors; and John A. Vaccaro, Head of MassMutual Financial Advisors.

In September, the foundation announced the winners of its 17th annual Invest in Others Awards. In August, it announced its annual Charitable Champions List.
