The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation named 10 financial advisory firms as 2024 Charitable Champions for going above and beyond in giving back to their communities.

The 501(c)(3) charity, which announces multiple series of awards annually, developed the Charitable Champions to call attention to the efforts of advisory firms that actively promote a culture of philanthropy among their advisors and employees, it said Monday.

The 2024 Charitable Champions are Cain Watters & Associates of Frisco, Texas; Cassaday & Co. of McLean, Virginia; Creative Planning of Overland Park, Kansas; DSF Wealth Management Group of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania; Hammond Iles Wealth Advisors of Wethersfield, Connecticut; IronBridge Wealth Counsel of Austin, Texas; North Star Resource Group of Minneapolis; Parcion Private Wealth of Bellevue, Washington; Pickler Wealth Advisors of Collierville, Tennessee; and Savage and Associates of Maumee, Ohio.

“We are fortunate to be part of an industry with so many professionals who are committed to giving back, and making a positive impact on the communities where they and their clients live and work,” according to R. Barkley Payne, Executive Director of Invest in Others.

Payne continued, “This year’s Charitable Champions serve as examples to us all on how to create a company culture that emphasizes giving back, and volunteering time and effort to improve their communities. We are proud to be able to bring peer recognition to the causes that our Charitable Champions support, and reward their advisors and employees for the good they have done.”

The 10 advisory firms named 2024 Charitable Champions were “blindly selected” from among the nominees based on criteria including leadership and culture, events and activities, incentives, contributions and impact, according to the charity.

Other criteria included being in business for at least one year, having at least three employees in the U.S., being in good standing with state and federal securities regulators, and offering direct financial advice to households or organizations.

Since 2007, Invest in Others has partnered with over 750 charities and donated over $6 million to charitable causes, including arts and culture, education, health and wellness, hunger and poverty prevention, the military and veterans, and youth programs, it said.

In July, Invest in Others announced 17 finalists for a separate award series, the Invest in Others Awards, to be announced on Sept. 19 at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. In December, it granted a total of $298,355 in support for 17 nonprofit organizations for its 2023 Grant Program.
