LPL Financial on Monday announced the appointment of Emily Field, a former Partner at McKinsey, to serve as Chief People Officer and Group Managing Director.

Field joins LPL’s Management Committee and will lead all Human Resources departments including Talent Management; Total Rewards; Learning, Culture and Engagement; and HR Business Partners, with oversight for talent strategy and employee experience for more than 9,000 employees, it said.

Field is replacing Sara Dadyar, who served as LPL’s Chief Human Resources Officer and Group Managing Director from January 2024 to April 2025, according to Dadyar’s LinkedIn profile.

Before joining LPL, Field served as a Partner at McKinsey in its People and Organizational Performance Practice since January 2023, and held other leadership roles in the firm since 2017, according to her LinkedIn profile.

At McKinsey, Field “led enterprise-scale transformations for global institutions, focusing on operating model redesign, talent strategy, HR modernization and leadership development,” according to LPL.

Prior to McKinsey, she held leadership roles at Accenture for over six years. Field co-authored the book “Power to the Middle: Why Managers Hold the Keys to the Future of Work.”
