RBC Wealth Management continued its growth in Ohio by adding a breakaway advisor team from Morgan Stanley, where they managed about $693 million in client assets, RBC said Thursday.
The multi-generational Paradigm team joins RBC’s new branch in Cincinnati, RBC said.
The Cincinnati office is now the fourth RBC Wealth Management location in Ohio, following locations in Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo.
Kyle McLaughlin, Managing Director – Private Wealth Advisor, leads the Paradigm team.
“RBC Wealth Management’s client-centric approach coupled with its global heft, financial stability, lending capabilities and focus on asset and liability management make it a perfect fit for our clients,” according to McLaughlin.
“Our whole team jumped at the chance to bring the RBC brand and its commitment to investing in the communities where we live and work to Cincinnati,” he said. “It’s not just good for our clients – it’s good for our city as well.”
The team provides solutions to complex financial issues for ultra-high and high net worth families, business owners and executives, according to RBC.

Welcoming Paradigm to RBC, Justin Ferdula, Chicago Complex Director at RBC Wealth Management-U.S., said: “This multi-generational team brings complementary skills to help their clients preserve their legacy and pursue their financial goals, and their steadfast reputation in the community will only help RBC Wealth Management expand its reach in Ohio.”
In the U.S., RBC Wealth Management has $583 billion in total client assets, with more than 2,100 financial advisors operating from 191 locations in 42 states, according to the firm.
