Smarsh, a provider of communications data and intelligence solutions for highly regulated firms including RIAs and independent broker-dealers, introduced its Annual Services Plan (ASP), a new service delivery model designed to provide Smarsh Enterprise Platform customers with increased flexibility and predictable costs.
The ASP offers a range of managed services, training and data services on-demand, with the ability to adjust these services as customer needs evolve. By eliminating the need for statement of work (SoW) agreements, the firm aims to provide a more adaptable and client-friendly service structure, according to a press release.
“We are excited to introduce ASP, which enables large enterprises to stay ahead of the curve by obtaining the services they need when they need them, with predictable budget implications,” said Kim Crawford Goodman, CEO of Smarsh.
She continued, “Whether it is facilitating the adoption of powerful artificial intelligence surveillance models, managing the integration of new digital communications capture channels, or administering an increasingly complex technical environment, companies can now operate across multiple work streams with more flexibility and control.”
Services available under ASP includes managed services, adoption services, data services, and training and Smarsh University. Managed services are designed to help businesses adopt Smarsh technologies more effectively by extending their operational capabilities.

With adoption, Smarsh experts assist in the deployment and configuration of the company's technology solutions, with the goal of ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards. Training and Smarsh University include learning tools such as instructor-led sessions, articles and online modules. Data services provide data management solutions, including secure data archiving and the development of APIs to streamline data transfers to other applications.
Rohit Khanna, Chief Customer Officer at Smarsh, said, “We have already seen strong demand for ASP, which we plan to expand to more customers in the months ahead. Businesses that select ASP will be well-equipped to take full advantage of the innovative digital communications compliance and data analytics capabilities at Smarsh, and to predictably manage the change that is required in today’s evolving regulatory environment.”
In September, Smarsh announced its upcoming AI-based communications surveillance offering, a strengthening of its partnership with Amazon Web Services and a textbook on large language models by its data science team. In August, it announced an office in Costa Rica.
