Modern Wealth Adds Third California Office By Acquiring $1 Billion RIA

Modern Wealth Management announced an agreement to acquire El Segundo, California-based Kaye Capital Management (KCM), a fee-only RIA with more than $700 million in AUM and $300 million in AUA.

This is Modern’s fourth transaction completed this year and its 17th to date, and will enable it to surpass $8.5 billion.

Sanctuary Recruits $580 Million Advisor From Bank Of Montreal

Sanctuary Wealth announced the recruitment of Indianapolis-based Velorum Wealth Management as a partner firm under its Partnered Independence model. Founded by Bernard Reed, who serves as Managing Partner, the firm oversees $580 million in assets for high net worth clients.

Sanctuary continues to win recruits from banks and wirehouses.

iCapital Raises Over $820 Million In Latest Funding Round

iCapital announced that it raised more than $820 million in a new financing round that was co-led and funded by accounts advised by new investors T. Rowe Price and SurgoCap Partners.

The firm says it will use the funds for acquisitions to enhance technology and expand data capabilities.
