Amplify Technology on Monday announced it teamed with Ned Davis Research (NDR) to provide financial advisors with NDR’s institutional research as turnkey managed portfolios through the AI-driven Amplify platform.

The collaboration will enable advisors to implement NDR’s investment models in client accounts on any custodial platform, the firms said.

The result will be the elimination of the day-to-day operational demands of portfolio management, according to the companies.

“This is the first formal partnership announcement between the two firms,” Adam Scully-Power, Managing Director, Enterprise Strategy at Amplify, told Wealth Solutions Report by email.

But he explained, “NDR has had model portfolios available to firms on the Amplify platform. This partnership is a significant expansion of that work, bringing NDR’s full institutional research and broader model capability into a turnkey solution delivered on Amplify’s modern wealth platform.”

The program launches today and firms can “begin the agreement process” on Aug. 10 he said, noting: “Models are available for implementation on the platform once the agreement is executed. The program is available through most major custodial platforms of which Amplify has a relationship with.”

Scully-Power went on to point out, “Beginning in December 2025, NDR built a series of custom models for select firms on the Amplify platform. That work was not structured as a formal pilot, but the early success of the offering gave both firms the framework to extend it to a broader array of model solutions across the platform.”

He added, “Advisors have been asking NDR for some time for the ability to access its institutional research as turnkey model solutions. Partnering with Amplify brings the trading, rebalancing, and reporting functionality of a modern platform to deliver that in a form advisors can implement at scale for the clients they serve.”

Aaron Brodt, CEO and Co-Founder, Amplify Technology

“We’re focused on helping advisors reduce the operational burden of building and managing portfolios so they can dedicate more time to the work that creates the greatest value for clients,” Aaron Brodt, Amplify Co-Founder and CEO, said in a news release.

“By combining Ned Davis Research’s trusted investment expertise with Amplify’s turnkey execution capabilities, we’re making it easier for advisors to deliver sophisticated portfolio solutions at scale,” he said.

According to the firms, NDR’s investment models will eliminate the need for Amplify to build and maintain models internally.

Advisors will continue to lead their client relationships and investment strategies and Amplify will manage trading, rebalancing and performance reporting, they added.

Brian Sanborn, Global Head of Investment Solutions, Ned Davis Research

“Our team has spent decades helping advisors make more informed investment decisions through objective, data-driven research,” Brian Sanborn, Global Head of Investment Solutions at Ned Davis Research, said in the press release.

“Through our partnership with Amplify, advisors can now put that research to work with professionally managed portfolios while maintaining the flexibility and client relationships that define their practices,” Sanborn said.

To introduce the new offering, Amplify and NDR will host a live webinar, ”From Institutional Research to Turnkey NDR Managed Models, Powered by Amplify,” on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET.
