San Francisco-based Feathery announced the launch of Robin, a financial services AI operations assistant that enables insurance, wealth management and banking enterprises to build and adapt operational workflows using plain English.
Feathery said users can describe a desired process in plain English, after which Robin assembles a workflow from building blocks the company says are pre-tested and compliant. Users can review and modify the workflow before deployment. Once deployed, Robin uses information from connected systems to answer questions, flag items requiring attention and suggest next steps.
“Robin is a real paradigm shift that puts power back into the hands of financial institutions,” said Peter Dun, CEO and Co-Founder of Feathery. “For too long, firms have had to adapt how they operate to the software they use, relying on vendors or IT teams to make every change. Robin changes that relationship by giving the people closest to the business more direct control over how their technology works.”
For wealth management firms, Robin can support workflows including client onboarding, account opening and advisor transitions. Feathery said that unlike standalone AI assistants, Robin operates within its workflow infrastructure, including integrations, document intelligence, workflow logic and enterprise controls, allowing firms to use plain-language interactions within their existing operational systems.
“Robin is already collapsing build timelines for our clients,” said Zack Khan, Co-Founder of Feathery. “One RIA launched an entirely new onboarding experience in a week connected to their systems: work that takes months with a traditional vendor-built approach.”
The Robin launch follows Feathery’s rollout of its new AI-powered Proposal Generation solution for wealth management firms that is intended to improve organic growth rates by enabling advisors to create personalized proposals for their clients and prospects.
In July, Feathery announced it raised $30 million in total funding from Portage Ventures, Index Ventures, Allstate Strategic Ventures, Clocktower Ventures, Erie Strategic Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures.
