This insurance installment of the 2026 guide series focuses on three leading conferences: the IRI Annual Conference, Insurance Innovators USA and the LIMRA Life Insurance And Annuity Conference.
IRI Annual Conference
The IRI Annual Conference, hosted by the Insured Retirement Institute, will take place April 22 to 24, at the JW Marriott Tampa in Florida. The event gathers professionals focused on retirement income solutions.
Financial advisors can register for $500. For IRI members, the rate is $2,460. Nonmember registration costs $2,925.

Keynote speakers include Margaret Brennan, moderator of CBS News’ “Face the Nation” and CBS News’ Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent; Oscar and Emmy-nominated writer, actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani; and Paul Zikopoulos, Vice President of Skills Vitality at IBM.
Conference sessions cover technology and AI, compliance, annuities and product innovation. Topics include artificial intelligence risks and implementation, the evolving landscape for annuity products, top regulatory issues facing the industry, and IRI’s Digital First for Annuities initiatives.

Insurance Innovators USA
Insurance Innovators USA, hosted by Marketforce, will be held May 11 to 12 at the Music City Center in Nashville. The conference is a carrier-led event. Marketforce expects more than 1,500 attendees, with approximately 50% from insurance carriers and about 75% at the management level.
The event emphasizes structured networking. Attendees have access to an event app designed to help participants identify relevant contacts and schedule one-to-one meetings.
The conference agenda centers on key themes shaping the insurance industry, including artificial intelligence and automation across the value chain, data-driven underwriting and pricing, risk management in a volatile environment, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, claims transformation and the modernization of distribution models. It will include general sessions, four stages and “think tank” sessions.

Almost 70 speakers are listed on the conference website at the time of publication, including Dawn Miller, CEO of Lloyd’s Americas; Andrew Rose, President of General Motors Financial; and Donna Jermer, Chief Marketing Officer at HUB International.
Early bird discounted tickets for carriers, brokers and agents cost $1,749 (plus tax) before March 20, then rise to $2,249. LIMRA Life Insurance And Annuity Conference
The LIMRA Life Insurance And Annuity Conference will be held April 13 to 15, at the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street in Florida. Jointly hosted by LIMRA and LOMA, the Society of Actuaries, and the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), the conference brings together professionals involved in development, operations, marketing, distribution, technology and administration of individual life insurance products and annuities.
The event’s theme is “The Power of Promise,” emphasizing the impact of life insurance and annuities as lasting commitments that provide protection, security and peace of mind. Sessions examine how the industry is built on trust-based relationships, how protection is expanding beyond traditional coverage to address evolving risks, and how these products impact families and communities.

Speakers include Bernard Baumahl, Chief Global Economist at the Economic Outlook Group; David Chavern, President and CEO of the ACLI; Kwame Christian, Founder and CEO of the American Negotiation Institute; April Hansen, CEO of Barton Associates; and Michael Downing, Co-President of Athene USA and Chief Operating Officer of Athene Holding.
Early registration fees for LIMRA, LOMA, SOA and ACLI members are $1,600 through March 13, rising to $1,800 after that date. For nonmembers, early registration costs $2,250, increasing to $2,535 after the deadline.
