Editor’s Note: Larry Roth, Founder and Managing Partner of Ascentix Partners, is also CEO of Wealth Solutions Report and its parent entity, Finetric Media. While Roth leads both, each is a separate, independent entity with separate management, operations and capital structure.

RLR Strategic Partners, the strategy and M&A advisory firm founded and led by Larry Roth ten years ago, announced its rebranding to Ascentix Partners. With the rebranding, the firm launched the Ascentix Partners Network, an alliance of consulting firms across multiple disciplines serving RIAs, dual registrants, wealthtech firms, regtech firms and investment management providers.

Firms in the network provide complementary services in benefits consulting, compliance and supervision, brand strategy, public relations, marketing, M&A advisory, technology strategy and implementation, growth strategy, and strategic finance and value creation.

The firms are Bridgemark Strategies, an M&A and financial advisor consultancy led by Jeff Nash, CEO and Co-Founder; GreenLine Consultants, a consultancy providing technology strategy and execution that is represented within the Ascentix network by Founding Partner Hilda Wong-Doo; Essential Edge Compliance Outsourcing Services, a consultancy covering regulatory affairs, compliance and supervision led by Co-Owner and Managing Partner Sander Ressler; Advisor Group Benefits, an advisory and enterprise benefits strategy consultancy represented by Chris Paulitz; and Haven Tower Group, a provider of publication relations, marketing and brand strategy, led by CEO and Founder Joe Kuo.

“Shifting demographics, transformative technologies and ongoing consolidation have created extraordinary opportunities for growth across the wealth management industry,” said Roth, Founder and Managing Partner of Ascentix. “To seize these opportunities, firms need to work with proven third-party experts and consultants across disciplines—and do so within a structure that empowers collaboration, alignment and execution. That’s what Ascentix delivers.”

He continued, “The consultant landscape in our industry is highly fragmented, which makes it difficult for firms to find the right partners, let alone coordinate among them. With Ascentix and our network of strategic partner firms, we offer clients a seamless solution, backed by unmatched experience and deep-rooted, value-add relationships across the wealth management ecosystem.”

Ascentix’s rebrand and launch of its network follows the recent addition to its team of three Partners: Jim Roth, formerly the SVP of Enterprise Sales & Solutions at BetaNXT; Jim Nagengast, previously the CEO of Securities America; and Todd Glassman, a strategic finance and value creation executive.

In addition, Kuo joins Ascentix as Co-Founder and Managing Partner, while continuing to serve at Haven Tower. Haven Tower Partner and Chief Marketing Officer Katherine Paulson will also serve as CMO of Ascentix.

Drew Brophy will continue as Chief of Staff at the firm.

Kuo said, “The Ascentix Network is the natural next step for a community of close-knit firms that have long worked with one another and grown stronger together over many years. What binds our Strategic Partner firms is a shared passion for exceptional service, deep trust in each other’s expertise and an unwavering belief in the future of our industry.”

He continued, “Together, we have the capabilities, relationships and knowledge to move the needle across every major function of enterprise growth in the wealth management space.”
