New York City-based alternative investments specialist CAIS announced Wednesday that almost 40 new and existing alternative asset managers introduced strategies on the CAIS alts platform during the last six months.
The additional strategies being offered by CAIS include hedge funds, infrastructure, real estate and other alternative asset classes, it said.
Advisors are continuing to “refine allocations across asset classes, liquidity profiles, and investment objectives, enabling them to tailor portfolios to evolving needs” of their clients, CAIS said in a news release.
During the first quarter of 2026, CAIS saw increased flows into exchange funds, hedge funds, infrastructure, real estate and tax-advantaged strategies, which it attributed to a shift toward portfolio diversification and income-oriented strategies.
Asset managers that have added strategies on CAIS’ platform this year include “established” firms as well as managers it said are not generally available via traditional wealth channels.
Those asset managers, CAIS said, include AllianceBernstein, Blackstone, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Hamilton Lane, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, T. Rowe Price/Oak Hill Advisors, Veritas Capital and Vista Equity Partners.
CAIS didn’t specify which asset managers are offering strategies on its platform for the first time.
“Advisor needs continue to evolve, and we’re committed to building a marketplace that evolves with them,” Brad Walker, Co-President of CAIS, said in the news release. “By thoughtfully expanding access to leading managers and strategies, paired with robust education and technology that removes operational friction, we’re allowing advisors to construct portfolios that reflect today’s market environment and their clients’ long-term objectives.”
He added, “Our disciplined approach to manager selection on the platform seeks to ensure that advisors can access strategies that complement diversified portfolios while delivering the experience they expect from CAIS.”

“Today’s wealth management landscape is increasingly defined by advisors’ ability to access and evaluate a broad range of alternative investment opportunities,” Jennifer Abate, Head of the RIA Channel at Blackstone, said in the release. “Education, due diligence, and technology are the foundation for advisors allocating to alternatives, and it’s meaningful to see platforms strengthening all three across the industry.”
Mercer provides due diligence for the over 600 alts strategies available on the CAIS platform.
CAIS Summit
Asset managers contributing to the CAIS alts platform get access to a custom analytics dashboard, a dedicated support team and live educational and networking events through CAIS Live and CAIS Summit, it said.
CAIS will host its fifth annual CAIS Summit in Beverly Hills, California, on Oct. 12 to 15. It expects over 1,200 financial advisors, asset managers and other industry professionals to attend, it said.
The Summit will provide advisors with opportunities to engage directly with alternative asset managers that have strategies available on the CAIS platform, it said.
Financing
CAIS’ ongoing platform expansion comes shortly after the firm announced in July that it received $170 million in a Series D financing round led by Vista Equity Partners that valued CAIS at over $2 billion.
That additional funding will enable CAIS to expand its platform, scale its technology and AI capabilities, explore strategic opportunities, and continue innovating, it said.
CAIS serves more than 2,500 wealth management firms that support over 65,000 advisors overseeing about $8.5 trillion in assets, it said.
